Blandford Gym Competition June 2018
This competition is a good introduction to gymnastic competitions; it is very friendly and has become extremely popular. The competition had over 200 competitors from 8 clubs, with 31 gymnasts from our Community and Gym Club taking part.
Gymnasts compete individually, doing 3 elements – a floor routine, a vault and trampette activities.
With 31 gymnasts in 13 categories, the gymnasts did the club proud by coming away with 15 medals (4 Bronze, 2 Silver and 9 Gold). For many it was their first time competing and all dealt with their nerves well.
