National Schools Competition

Cannot believe it is another year already and the school national finals, but again we have seen even more of our tumblers achieve in competitions to mean they are representing their school at the National finals …….whoop whoop!!
Five of our gymnasts competed individually and as part of the SW team. There was good competition with some categories seeing 24 competitors. So how did we do? Absolutely superbly, call me biased, but I am always so proud of all our gymnasts who compete, their dedication, commitment and focus is absolutely faultless, even when preparations don’t always go to plan. For two of the gymnasts it was the first time representing SW at the Schools Tumbling National Finals, but nerves were held at bay and the results were as follows:
U11 Boys: Zac Spike 5th and Kyle Woolmington 8th
U14 Boys: Ben Cowell 8th
O14 Girls: Sam Cook 5th and Hazel Luscombe 13th
Well done to them all, they performed superbly, all have clean runs and other regions better watch out as we are on your tails!
