Levels Nat 1 and Nat 2 competition

This competition was a first for many if not all our gymnasts competing – 11 gymnasts in total.
What a performance by them all – we as coaches couldn’t be prouder of what they all achieved – absolutely amazing and I don’t think I have seen any of them perform as well as they did at the competition.
The day started with the 11-12 year age group Nat 1 level, which saw Callie Margetts, Lily Sherry, Rebecca Ransome and Charlotte Nolan compete along with 27 other gymnasts from all over the South West. The results were fantastic with all 4 being in the top 13 out of 31, with Lily Sherry achieving 3rd, Charlotte Nolan hot on her tails and only 0.1 behind Lily in 4th, Rebecca achieving 9th and Callie 13th. Lily, Charlotte and Rebecca all progressing to the next round of competition.
Next up we’re the two boys, ever the rivals. Both Zac Spike and Kyle Woolmington achieving fabulous results – Zac achieving the gold medal and will compete at the English Silver Nationals, and Kyle not far behind in 3rd place. Both of the boys have progressed to the next stage of the competition.
Lastly that day were Hazel Luscombe, Giorgia Bond, Katie Gardiner, Eloise Morris and Kaela Roper all competing in age 13+ Nat 1.
Again a big group with Hazel achieving Gold, Giorgia 6th place, Eloise 9th, Katie 10th (despite injuring herself!) and Kaela 14th ( despite a hiccup on run 2, else would have been up with Giorgia).

They are all improving so much and their performances they should be proud of as they certainly did the club and coaches proud.
Keep going guys as you are all progressing and it is a joy to see. Bring on the next competition!
